How accuRx used Otta to hire 30 people to work on their important mission

accuRx, the healthcare software provider, is on a mission to bring patients and their healthcare teams together, to make patients healthier and staff happier. accuRx combines SMS, video consultations, and the ability to send documents and photos between medical practitioners and their patients, with the capability to save these communications to the patient record.

Most recently, they have been supporting the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in the UK by helping facilitate appointments at vaccine centres around the country.

accuRx joined Pro in November 2020 in a period of rapid hiring that has been seen ever since. They made 30 hires in their first year on Otta across all teams in the business, including software engineers, product managers and senior members of the team.

One of the areas where Otta stood out was the diversity of candidates on the platform. Otta attracts lots of candidates from backgrounds that are typically underrepresented in tech, because we've thought deeply about what these candidates care about.

For example, we encourage companies to talk about how they approach diversity, equity & inclusion, and we share the gender split at the companies we have on the platform.
